With a strong passion for hunting, fishing, and sewing, Dallacy believes that spending time on the land is helpful for the body, the mind, and rejuvenating for the soul. On top of her 15+ years of experience on the land, Dallacy completed her arctic guide training at the Nasivik Adult Educator Centre as well as the Pijunnaqunga Internship program which focuses on goal setting, strengthening employment skills, and personal well-being. Dallacy enjoys working in a team, has strong organizational skills, and experience with youth development programs.
In Dallacy’s own words: “I was drawn to Saqijuq because their work gives me an opportunity to showcase my unique skills, participate and share in my culture’s traditions, and encourage younger generations to be more helpful and proactive in their local communities.”
